What do you need help with?

  • Trauma is any experience that has caused you to go out of your “window of tolerance” and prevented you from being able to cope. These experiences, both small and big, impact the way we respond to triggers and how we see our lives. I will provide education on the complexities of trauma. I aim to meet you where you are and help you determine what the next steps of healing may look like. Take hart, healing is possible.

  • Lets work on both wholistic and natural ways to treat depression as well as psychotherapeutic methods that can help the thoughts that can lead us to depression. I really enjoy using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy when treating depression as well as a trauma informed lense that has insight on how past experiences directly affect your current mental wellbeing.

  • Anxiety treatment can have many forms. We will work together to assess the root of your anxiety and collaborate on treating the symptoms and causes to bring a further sense of peace for your life.

  • Being a professional in any field can cause challenges and stresses for anyone. Lets take some time to look into these and see how they may be affecting you. Is it time to make some adjustments? Is it time to consider other employment options? Lets explore what will lead you to your best life.

  • Post Traumatic Stress Disorder is a diagnosis that can feel intimidating. I use a compassionate trauma informed therapeutic approach in PTSD treatment as well as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) therapy to reduce sensitivity to triggers so you can full process what has happened in the past and have a felt sense of safety in the present. (See more on EMDR on the section below.)

  • Grief can take us by surprise and may be something we have been dealing with for 20 minutes or 20 years. I want to help you through the grieving process and show compassion to the places in your life that seem the most painful.

  • I am passionate about working with military veterans. I worked for the Department of Veteran Affairs for the last 5 years of my career where I gained valuable skills in working with veterans and veteran specific issues. I would love to help you not only return home to yourself, but be able to continue to navigate the complexities of returning home from military service and all that that process may entail for your individual story.

  • I operate from a biopsychosocial-spiritual perspective, meaning all parts of our being can impact overall health. I’d love to journey with you on your personalized path to spiritual growth.

  • There are unique challenges in being a woman as well as amazing and exhilarating things. We can walk through those challenges and joys and how they are impacting your individual story.

  • Work can be a primary stressor in people’s lives. It does not have to be this way. Let help you gain back control of your life and not let work consume you.
